Contexto
Existe un creciente mercado negro de HFC de contrabando con vínculos ya conocidos con el crimen organizado y que puede tener efectos devastadores en las empresas, las personas y el medio ambiente.
Al comprar o utilizar HFC ilegales, tu empresa está contribuyendo a esta actividad delictiva. También te expones a graves riesgos de seguridad, ya que ni los cilindros importados ilegalmente ni su contenido gozan de una calidad garantizada.
Las últimas investigaciones indican que el mercado negro constituyó 31 millones de CO2eqT solo en 2019 – un número que puede aumentar si no trabajamos juntos.
La investigación de una encuesta realizada entre las personas que firmaron este compromiso muestra que el 84% de los encuestados en la cadena de valor de los refrigerantes ven o se les ofrece HFC comercializados ilegalmente al menos una vez al año. El 72% de los encuestados se ha visto afectado negativamente por el comercio ilegal de HFC, mientras que el 69% pidió más acciones autorizadas para reducir el mercado negro.
